Under the guidance of his supervisor, Assistant Professor Ye Bin, Yu Zhe focuses on environmental planning and energy economics. He thinks diligently and writes prolificately, achieving notable progress in scientific research. To date, he has published several high-level academic papers, including three articles as first author or co-first author in JCR Q1 journals Journal of Building Engineering and Applied Energy, with a cumulative impact factor of 29.4.

3. International Perspective and Active Communication

From 2024 to 2025, Yu Zhe attended the 10th and 11th International Conferences on Applied Energy (CUE2024 & CUE2025) for two consecutive years, presenting his research results in parallel sessions. Centering on the environmental and economic assessment of building-integrated photovoltaics, he engaged in in-depth discussions with scholars worldwide and responded on-site to questions regarding technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and policy support, demonstrating strong academic literacy and international communication skills.

“I will continue to expand the boundaries of knowledge, stay down-to-earth on the path of scientific research, and contribute my strength to achieving China’s ‘dual-carbon’ goals.” His growth and achievements are the joint outcome of personal effort and the training provided by the research group, and they inspire more students to pursue courageously and develop comprehensively on the stages of academia and life.
