Bin Ye
Assistant Professor. Ph.D., Harbin Institute of Technology. Prior to his current appointment, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Tsinghua University and Lawrence-Berkeley National Laboratory. His research interests include environmental management and energy economics, with emphasis on integrating environmental science with economics methods into climate, energy, and economic development related issues at global, regional, and city dimensions. He has presided over 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China,3 scientific research projects for Chinese TOP state-owned enterprises such as State Grid and China Southern Power Grid. He has published Over 100 research papers as of Dec. 2025 and was selected as the top 2% of global scientists by Stanford in 2025. He Served as Associate Editor of Environmental Geochemistry and Health and as a Young Editorial Board Member of Applied Energy.
